Description of my issue:

Since one of the last updates I mis the backup on update getting this error;

An error has occurred.
500 The file backuponupdate.xml could not be found.

Is there a way to re-install this plugin?

I did install akeeba backup version 8.0.6  several times, and now the plugin is back again. 

I installed it 2 times, that was not enough. I tink after the 5 time it worked.
