Trying to update the Akeeba Backup Professional from 7.3.2.1 to I believe 8.0.3. In my localhost, the update show to do from Joomla Component page for Akeeba Backup. Easy done. For the live site, that is not there. The JA Extension Manager yield the following message:

Response from JoomlArt Updater Service: Sorry, this extension is invalid, unpublished or no longer supported: com_admintoolscom_admintools_j16 Please update the service setting or contact with service provider.   How do I update this. This is the same for the Admintools. Trying to update from 5.8.0 to 6.0.4 done in my localhost. I tried to install Admin Tools 5.9.0. It shows:   Error 404 - Not Found

Um... our software is most definitely NOT hosted on JoomlArt's server. We are an entirely different company. Moreover, the update package "com_admintoolscom_admintools_j16" is something we have never, EVER used in Admin Tools' entire 11 year history.

It would look like you have a JoomlArt template and/or some of their extensions and they are screwing up the updates on your site.

Your only alternative is to download the latest version of our software and use Upload & Install to install it per our documentation, see the Manual Update section.
