Hi,

Admin Tools PRO 6.0.1 successfully updates from v5.9.3.

BUT Backup PRO 8.0.1 does NOT successfully update from v7.5.3.

Please can you investigate and issue an updated version?

ERROR MESSAGE

An error has occurred.

0 Argument 1 passed to FOF40\Platform\Joomla\Platform::__construct() must be an instance of FOF40\Container\Container, instance of Akeeba\Backup\Admin\Container given, called in /home/wynchco/public_html/libraries/fof30/Container/Container.php on line 217

Hi there,

I appreciate you are very busy following the recent updates of BACKUP and ADMIN TOOLS not running smoothly.

My sites are currently using the old BACKUP v7.5.3 because the v8.0.1 updates did not run smoothly.

But I have updated some of my sites' ADMIN TOOLS from v5.9.3 to v6.0.1 (updates ran smoothly).

However, I have just tried opening ADMIN TOOLS in the control panel of one of the updated sites and seen the following error:

An error has occurred
JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data
<br/>
<pre>
(HTML containing script tags)
</pre>

I can still click through and review settings.

QUESTIONS

Are updated sites using v6.0.1 as well protected as those using v5.9.3?

Should I restore backups made before updating to v6.0.1 or will there be a new release to rectify the situation?

If there has been increased exposure to risk of being hacked then I would rather restore backups for affected sites and start over.

Install Admin Tools 6.0.2 and Akeeba Backup 8.0.2 we released today.

Regarding the AJAX error, it happens when you have Master Password enabled but have not yet entered it and Admin Tools tries to show you the blocked requests graphs. We are aware of it and will address it in a future release. Considering the urgency of installation issues it was not something we could stall on a release today.
