EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

There is no log-file, because backup didn't start at all!

Description of my issue:

Very important!

With the update to Akeebabackup 7.5, the cronjob via akeeba-backup.php no longer works on several of my websites (not on all)! I.e. there has been no automatic backup on these websites since mid-December!

But it works again immediately if I replace the old akeeba-backup.php from the 7.1.4 version with the new one.

Please make sure to correct in the next version so that I don't have to manually replace this php file every time Akeebabackup is updated - on all maintained websites!

My provider: www.all-inkl.de (shared hosting "private plus").

We are also using akeeba-backup.php on this very site. We definitely get our twice daily backups.

What changed in Akeeba Backup 7.5.0 is that the minimum PHP version requirement was increased from 5.6 to 7.2. It would look like your server's default PHP for CLI — or at least the one you are using in your CRON job's command line — is a version lower than 7.2.

Please ask your host what is the correct path to PHP CLI 7.4.1 and edit your CRON jobs, replacing the path to PHP (the very first thing in the command line) with the correct path they've given you.
