The following files are too big and can cause backup issues:
File: images/ASA AZ New Website.mp4 12.68 Mb
File: images/Newsletters/2020/December 2020 live.pdf 36.59 Mb

Possible solution: Please try excluding these files using the Files and Directories Exclusion feature or delete them if you are sure you don't need them on your site.

These would backup fine before the server upgrade (only change was from CentOS 6 to CentOS 7) or from the PHP 7.3 to 7.4.13 upgrade. I know it'll be some PHP setting but not sure what. The backup file is created and sits on the server but does not upload to Google Drive. If I exclude the large files as identified in the error, then the backup happens and the file is uploaded to GD without issue.

What setting should I be looking at please?

Sorry, should have done some more digging before posting... apologies. I ended up changing these settings and all is good. I'm posting this in case someone is more diligent than I and finds the solution here.

max_execution_time 180
max_input_time 180
memory_limit 512M
post_max_size 256M
upload_max_filesize 1000M

This can be closed.

The key change was the max_execution_time.  You either need to change that in PHP settings (like you did) or use a lower Maximum Execution Time in your Akeeba Backup profile's configuration.
