Hello,

looking at the backup log, you are trying to backup the table #__quiz_response_details , which has more than 3 millions of rows.
Akeeba is correctly working, but such operation takes time, and after 5 minutes your host kills the backup process.

If you really need to backup such table contents, you should get in touch with your host and ask him to increase the time limit or switch to frontend backups and trigger the backup from an external service, working around your host limits.

Hi Davide,

Thank you very much for the advice and understanding as to why this is a challenging issue due to the large table in question. My host has suggested for me to onlly take a site backup and do a mysql dump separately because the database is 1.3GB. Is it possible to do a restore if I got a dump of the mysql database? Can i add the sql somewhere in the backup? or is this not possible to restore in this method?

Thanx,

Given the large size of that table and the time limits imposed by your host, I'd suggest to skip the contents of such table using Database Filters. Then perform the dump using mysqldump. It will simply create an SQL file that you can restore using mysqldump in the same way, after you completed the restoration with ANGIE.
