working to update all extensions, plugins, and components before I upgrade Joomla. In the past, Akeeba backup had the upgrade withing the backup component page. Not there now. I downloaded your Akeeba Backup Pro 7.2.2. JA Extension Manager shows your program but when I checked for updates, I get this message -  Response from JoomlArt Updater Service: sorry, this extension is invalid, unpublished orno long support: com_akeebacom_akeeba_J16. How do I update the backup component?

You are using a third party extension to manage your extensions. This is non-standard and not supported. It looks like it's trying to update all extensions based on information on the third party (JoomlArt) server which will of course fail. Akeeba Ltd is not affiliated in any way with JoomlArt and they do not have a reason or a legal right to host updates to our extensions.

You should use Joomla's own extensions manager by going to Extensions, Manage, Update.

If this core Joomla page is taken over by your third party extensions manager you will need to ask its developers for assistance to display the standard Joomla extensions update page.
