EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Trying a backup I get this message:

The integrity check of the backup archive failed. The archive is corrupt. Message received from the extraction engine: The file is not a JPA archive

Please advice.

Go to the Configuration page of your backup profile and uncheck the “Archive integrity check” box.

Please remember that the “Archive integrity check” feature only makes sense when you are creating backup archive files. You have chosen the backup type “Main site database only (SQL file)” which generates a .sql file. This is a text file. It's not an archive. There is no concept of integrity on a text file. That's why you're getting an error. You are essentially asking Akeeba Backup to do something impossible and it dully informs you that it has, indeed, failed to do the impossible.
