Perhaps no issue, but a question about a file in my backup (Akeeba Backup output) directory. It's name is "akzcdMFcnsY"; it has no document type suffix, which is why I have not attached it.

My Joomla sites seem to be under unusually high volume of hack attempts and files with unusual names immediately get my attention.

Hello,

you can safely ignore them.
They are just temporary files created by Akeeba Backup during the configuration wizard or backup process.
