Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I have switched my administrator's email to a new setting (from (email1) to (email2) . I have changed akeeba backup email notifications to my new email (email2) in the tab "Akeeba Backup Component Configuration Options".

I do a cron job for backing up my site (on siteground)
/usr/local/php70/bin/php-cli -q /home/geothe93/public_html/nemoswimclub-ch/cli/akeeba-backup.php --profile=1

I keep getting these messages to the old email (email1) address (see below)

Is there anothere place where I should change my email setting?
I have checked that my settings in akeeba admin tools have also been changed

Thank you for remembering me where to setup the coorect thing

Jacques

Message which should now be sent to (email2):

subject Cron <geothe93@am4> /usr/local/php70/bin/php-cli -q /home/geothe93/public_html/nemoswimclub-ch/cli/akeeba-backup.php --profile=1

Jacques,

That email is coming from the CRON job. Look for an email address in the CRON setup.

Hello, I've asked siteground about this and I'm waiting about their response

It seems to me I never had to modify an akeeba backup script with an email.

the cron setup itself has only a command line like this one (no way to configure an email within cpanel for that purpose)

Minute Hour Day Month Weekday Command
30 23 * * * /usr/local/php70/bin/php-cli -q /home/geothe93/public_html/gvmp/cli/akeeba-backup.php --profile=1

So I think the email is generated from akeeba's script, based on akeeba's backup configuration

I heave read and reread akeeba's manual and, apart in the Akeeba Backup Component Configuration Options, I see nowhere a place for setting this email address. I'm sure I miss something.

I haven't used Siteground, but I know Rochen has an email field on the CRON page - not part of the individual CRON commands. If you don't get a straight answer out of Siteground, we'll ask Nicholas. This site is hosted on Siteground.
