Description of my issue:

During installation of v7.0.0.1b over v6.6.1 an unhandled exception was detected.
After return to control pannel a backup was succesfully executed.

In attached zip-file a pdf and html copy of the errorpage

Kind regards,

Please clear your Joomla cache (site and administrator) and retry accessing Akeeba Backup. If you get the same problem please let me know if it's the Core or Professional version you're having the problem with.

Please note that this was a one-time event while installing v7.0.0.1b CORE over v6.6.1 CORE
After that I was able to use backup and then I have installed v7.0.0.1b PRO without further issues.

The issue you had looks like a stuck cache. I could not reproduce it with 6.6.1 Core to 7.0.0.b1 Core (or Pro). Nobody else reported it either.
