Description of my issue:

Unable to find download for single file .jpa Extraction Wizard referred to in Support Notice for extraction of single back up file from Akeeba Backup archive.

Please advise link/download location for Windows utility extraction wizard for backup archive.

The eXtraction Wizard has been discontinued and is no longer available. You can use Kickstart to extract the backup archive. You can use it on a local web server on your machine if necessary.

Dear Dale,

Thank you for your response. Understood.

There are a number of references in the troubleshooting/support videos to using the Extraction Wizard to remove individual files from a backup where a full recovery with Kickstart isn't required. It would be good to remove the support videos, documentation references and links to using the Extraction Wizard from the support website.

The videos are a numbered series. If we remove a single video it'd be confusing. Therefore they'd need to be reshot. We don't shoot them in house, we hire a professional instructor, making this an expensive process. We will only reshoot the videos after the next round of user testing and UX improvements in 2020. We've found that the number of people trying to extract a few specific files is so low that it makes more financial sense replying to their support requests than reshooting the videos prematurely.

If you run into a documentation page referencing eXtract outside the Akeeba Backup's user guide (which I've already gone through for the upcoming version) please let me know where you found it so I can fix it.
