I have a problem when I run a backup profile that should upload the backup to Amazon S3. Normal backup profile that saves the file locally works fine.

When the backup process stops I get this error:

------ BEGIN OF ALICE RAW OUTPUT -----
Additional database - Wrong access details
Could not detect the used profile, test skipped

Additional database - Joomla database inclusion
Could not detect the used profile, test skipped

------ END OF ALICE RAW OUTPUT -----

I have no additional databases set up. The "Multiple Databases Definitions" setting is empty.

This problem is happening on 2 sites that are on the same server. Other sites that are not on that server work fine. I am assuming something changed on that server that is causing that error.

What could that be? Do you have an idea?

Hello,

can you please double check the settings for the S3 profile? Please remember that profile has its own settings, so if you had an additional database that is no longer valid, you have to remove it from all the profiles, not just the current one.

Hi,

I never added additional database. That is why I was confused by the message.
S3 settings also were not changed.

Somehow it works today. It must have magically fixed it self over the weekend.
Hopefully it continues to work.

Thank you.

The message actually says something very different than what you both understood (which is strange because Davide was the developer who wrote ALICE and penned that message). The log file you asked ANGIE to analyse was either cut too short or was not taken with the "All information and debug" log level. As a result it was missing the information about which backup profile was used for that backup. Since the backup profile could not be determined, ALICE could not check at all for additional databases. Hence the test was skipped, as the message says.

Next time you ran ALICE there was a full log file, it could determine which backup profile was used and ran all tests to completion.
