Description of my issue:
The CRON task of akeeba always works well for me on 2.x and 3.x sites.

But this time I have migrated a Joomla 2.5 to 3.9.12 and although the backups manually, if they work ... the task CRON in plesk can not generate the backup file. And in Plesk there are no errors, it gives how generated and we have not changed server!

Can you help us please?

We stopped supporting Joomla! 2.5 in May 2016 when Akeeba Backup was in version 4.7. We're now in version 6.6. In the three and a half years since then we have changed the locations and names of the CLI scripts and how you pass parameters to them.

Please first go to the Scheduling Information page in Akeeba Backup and check the CRON command lines.

Moreover, please check that your CRON jobs use the PHP 7.1 command line binary, not an older version of PHP, not a CGI binary.
