Hi guys,

I red the Language Files announcement dated 20 february 2018

I noted during my last download also Files have been renamed:
- akeebabackup-en-GB-j3x > backup-en-GB
- admintools-en-GB-j3x > admintools-en-GB

So, please:

1 - Do I have to remove the last languages files before to install the last one ? Or simply I have to install the last one as always ?

2 - How to manage files from now ? We can countinue to contribute on the new Weblate platform ? What are the updated Akeeba rules on it ?

1. No, you don't have to uninstall anything. The ZIP file name has changed but the package name (what Joomla sees and which is defined inside an XML file included in the ZIP file) has not. Just install the new one over the old one.

2. Yes, you contribute on the Weblate platform only. Creating an account won't give you permissions to file suggestions. You'll have to ask me to give you this ability after creating your account.

The new language files are rolling releases. This means that they are built every night from the latest accepted translations. As a rule of thumb, install a new language pack about a week after we release a new version (so our translators have had enough time to catch up and test the translations).
