I closed by mistake the ticket # 28895, here is more
Akeeba transfer site Angie still not in French

I have downloaded the latest language version in French
I have in the folder "backup-fr-FR.Zip" the file "language-angie.jpa".
I installed the FR package and Angie stays in English.

I visualize in the folder "www/administrator/components/com_akeeba/Master/Installers" the file "language-angie.jpa" not extracted

If I extracted on my PC "language-angie.jpa"I see in the folder "angie \ installation \ angie \ language" a file "fr-FR.ini"

Would not there be a bug?

The language-angie.jpa file is NOT meant to be extracted. It's meant to be present inside Akeeba Backup's administrator/components/com_akeeba/Master/installers folder. Its contents will be included in the backup archive's installation/angie/language folder. Can you please check if your backup archive had the fr-FR.ini file inside that folder?

Actually, I see there is a typo in the backup engine ('languages' instead of 'language') making the inclusion of the languages impossible. This will be fixed in the next beta release, scheduled for release around the end of January. I would like to release the beta earlier but our baby will be born any day now and I don't want to plan on doing any releases while sleep deprived and trying to figure out how to handle the new addition to our family ;)
