I made a cronjob for starting the backup but the backup doesn't work. Almost immediately i got a message in the mail: Sorry, the backup didn't work.

I don't know were to look anymore to solve the problem.

You start in Akeeba Backup, in Manage Backups. If there is a record there, then the backup started, which suggests your CRON setup is correct. It would also mean that there is a backup log, which is the next step. Please download the backup log, zip it and post it here. That will help with figuring out what is happening.

If there is no record in Manage Backups, then the backup never started and you need to look at your CRON setup again.

The problem is probably the backup script. The backup did not actually start and there was no backup log. It took the URL from the backup script and copied it in my browser. Than the backup did run.

I made a cron job with wget and that works.
