Description of my issue:
Backup always worked. Suddenly it aborts on DB saving
" Incorrect file format 'XX_admintools_log' SQL=SHOW CREATE TABLE `XX_admintools_log`

Hello,

this means that such table is corrupted.
You can try to exclude it from the backup or (even better) get in touch with your host and ask him to take a look.
Sadly that's a kind of high-privilege operation that only your host support can do.
