Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I'm trying to transfer some files to a local Nextcloud instance using Akeeba Backup Pro.

Using the webdav http-address everything works fine. Using https however results in an error. Referencing the logfiles I noticed:

[171103 11:20:08] Absolute WebDav URL: https://lan.....com/.../webdav//.../
[171103 11:20:08] Received the following exception while checking if the remote folder exists: 0 - [CURL] Error while making request: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate (error code: 60)

I'm guessing it has something to do with the cacert.pem file that is lacking. However I'm uncertain as to where this file has to be located...

Hello,

the problem is caused by your host not having a valid cacert.pem file.
We will update the post processing engine in order to load Mozilla firefox cacert.pem file that is shipped with Akeeba Backup. In the meantime you have to use plain HTTP or ask your host to fix the issue with the certificate in your server.
