Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Hello, a couple of my client sites randomly stopped remotely storing backups to Dropbox about 10 days ago resulting in the hosting accounts storage maxing out. Previous to that, Akeeba successfully backed up and transferred the files to Dropbox 17 times. Any idea why this would suddenly occur? Thank you. Cliff

Hello,

there are a couple of reasons for that, can you please attach the log of a failed backup?
So I can confirm my hunch.

Looking at your log file, it seems you didn't set a part size for your backup.
This means that a single archive is created and uploaded to Dropbox. In your case the file is more than 190Mb, so the upload process fails while trying to transfer it to Dropbox.
Please set a part size of 20Mb and try again, you can find such option inside the Configuration Page, Archvier settings section.

You never had this issue before because your customer sites were smaller and Akeeba Backup was able to upload everything in one shot.
