EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue: After hitting "update" on Akeeba backup in the Joomla updater, my entire site is down (business is being lost!!!!). I did the following:
- Disabled all Akeeba backup plugin items from MySQL admin (no change)
- Renamed my .htaccess file, which got me the following errors instead of just a 500 error:

- Disabled AdminTools
- Renamed the plugins/quickicon/akeebabackup folder, per this article (did not work): https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/akeeba-backup-3x/Ticket/26444-just-updated-my-akeeba-fatal-error-class-fof30-container-container.html

The update of the FOF30 library went wrong. We need to fix that and everything should be fine.
  • Download a copy of one of our components, e.g. Akeeba Backup.
  • Extract it.
  • Find the lib_fof30.zip file.
  • Extract it.
  • Rename the extracted folder fof to fof30.
  • Upload the fof30 folder into your site's libraries folder so now you have a libraries/fof30 folder.
