EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I am having problem with updating Akeeba Backup Pro as well as Admin tools Pro. When i try to backup using the Backup manager and upload the package. It enters an infinite loop.

Can you please expand on the description of your problem? I'm not sure if you are updating or backing up. And I don't understand where you are getting the loop. Thank you.

Backing up is fine .
I am trying to update the tools to the latest versions but unable to do it.
allow me to show you what i am doing. Please check below;

P.S. My apologies , i have managed to update them this time. it could have been an issue with the browser cache. I also upgraded from PHP version 5.5 to 5.6.
This could have solved the problem too.
