I have a bunch of sites (30 or so) running Akeeba Backup fired by a cron. All of a sudden many of them stopped backing up after April 25, I did not update any sites to Joomla 3.7 for many days afterwards) and others stopped after May 1. I have a few sites that are still running just fine under the cron - they never quit.

As I troubleshoot this, I thought I'd ask if what I have described rings a bell about any issues Akeeba may have run into in the last few weeks. I realize it may be something elst but I thought I'd check.

Thanks,

Tim

One correction to the above, this is happening on two different servers - one is my hosting company and the other is a separate company I only manage sites for their clients.

Hello,

can you please install the latest dev release and try again to start a backup?
We recently fixed some bugs and I think they could be related to your issue.

One quick question - is that dev release safe to install on all the sites I manage? Will it mess me up for update notices through watchful when you release the next official update?

Yes, it's safe to install.
We already have a new release planned, it should be published in few days.
