EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
After restoring, I saw no option for cleanup. How do I manually clean the installation?

Now I cannot access the restored site. Kickstart takes over.

Technically, Kickstart is just the extractor, ANGIE (the restore script) is taking over.

The cleanup step:
  • Deletes kickstart.php and its associated javascript and language ini files
  • Deletes the backup archive in the root of the site.
  • Deletes the /installation folder where ANGIE and your database backup files are located. This is the piece that is causing your problem.
