Description of my issue:
Cron is doing fine in regular updates and a subsequent check for failed backups - thanks for that.

Receiveing extensive emails with script output regularyl might unfortunately bias us from recognizing issues if they arise (because humans tend to skip over the important parts if the see it so often).

Is there an option to mute the cron scrip output unless the backup fails or raises notifications?

Hello,

in such cases the best thing to do is to create email filters based on the contents.
If the email contains any warning, you should leave in the inbox, otherwise delete it.
