Hi Nicholas,

I see an Ajax Loading error on every backup after i installed Admin Tools Professional (the installed version is: Admin Tools version 4.1.1). The backup gives the warning message as in the attached jpg file and then resumes the backup. The backup seems to end normal.

When i disable the plugin System - Admin Tools the backup process ends without the Ajax Loading Error.

Please your advise.

Regards,

Benny.

Hello,

that's pretty strange, since several customers (and we, too) are using both components in our websites.
Are you 100% sure that this always happens when Admin Tools is published? Can you please try to run 2-3 backups with Admin Tools enabled and see if you always get the error?
If you always get the error I suspect your site has very few available resources and when Admin Tools tries to inspect the request, you exhaust them and the host closes the connection.
Let me know how it goes with your tests, I think I may have a workaround for you.

Hi Davide,

I did try it three times in a row now and only the first time i saw the Ajax Load error... (???)
Could the time between the backups influence the occurrence of the error?

Regards, Benny.

I did monitor the resources and what is see is that a backup with admin tools pro enabled peaks 100% and without admin tools pro it peaks about 40%. in teh attached file you see a few backups with admin tools enabled and the last one is without admin tools.

Akeeba Backup process takes an huge amount of resources, and sends a very small form on every request.
It's very unlikely that Admin Tools will take more than a backup process to process a request with very few data.
If your backup process fails it's because is using too many resources and your host doesn't allow it: Admin Tools will add just a cup of water in an ocean of CPU usage ;)

Please try to use the following settings:
Minimum execution time: 5 seconds
Maximum execution time: 1 second
Runtime bias: 50%

Yes, minimum is greater than maximum, that's not a typo. This will slow down the whole backup process but it should not fail.

Thank you, Davide. Together with my hoster we are also checking some settings. I'm sure the 'problem' will be solved.
