Description of my issue: I have tried everything I can think of as well as read through all the information on this site. Honestly, I know this is something simple. But, I can't figure it out. I have attached a few screen shots of settings that may help. I still have the development site up and working, so not a big deal about loosing data. However, I need to get this up and running as soon as possible. Do you have a service where you can login using "Team Viewer" or something similar and allow me to pay someone for help?

Kickstart version used to extract the backup: (latest stable copy)

You need to manually create the database and database user before you do the restore. The restore script does not have sufficient rights to create a database, only to restore tables and data to an existing database. That's the usual "gotcha!" when you can't connect.

Thank you for your recommendation. I did manually create the database in cpanel (MySQL Databases) and utilized the information during the setup. Is there a service where someone would be willing to assist with the setup?
