EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Looked through public tickets and could not find this topic addressed. We have Akeeba Backup Professional 5.2.5 on a Joomla 3.6.5 site hosted on a KnownHost VPS. We recently added some large databases to our server which are not related to the Joomla website, but reside in the same /var/mysql folder as ourJoomla database and are available through the same MSQL server. Akeeba wants to back these new databases and we cannot find a way to exclude them, can you help?

Akeeba Staff
Hello,

Akeeba Backup, by default will only include all the tables of database specified inside Joomla Global Configuration.
If you want to include other databases, you have to specify them in the Multiple database definitions page.
This means that they are not included, unless someone told Akeeba Backup to add them.
Can you please take a look at the Multiple database definitions page and see if there is any record?

Please close our ticket, the databases were not captured in the backup after all so everything is working as intended. Thank you.
