EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Hello Team,

I am unable to access Akeeba Backup component at all. Each time I click on Akeeba Backup through components menu, it throws me back to Home Page of the site.

Measures I took:
1. I also have the Akeeba Admin Pro Installed and configured for secure login. I disabled that one ad tried to access Akeeba Backup with no luck.

2. I uninstalled Akeeba and re-installed the latest version with no luck.

3. Tested all other components including Akeeba Admin and found them working well.

Please Help.

Adding more information:

it was all good working in best condition. I started experiencing this issue after updating Joomla to 3.6.5 from 3.6.4.

Please clear your browser cache and close your browser, then restart and try again. Whenever you update Joomla! you have to clear the cache manually. I think you have some old JavaScript cached and it is messing things up.

Dale,

I did all that but for some odd reason it did not help.
Surprisingly when I just attempted again, it all worked well.
Not sure what fixed it, but "All is Well" now.
