Description of my issue:

Could you tell me why is command-line backup (executed by standard Cron task on default profile #1) lighter than administrator backup on the same profile (code+DB) ? 56.11 Mb vs 252.89 Mb...

please get in touch with your host and ask him to double check if the CLI version of PHP has the extension mbstring enabled.
