EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I received the following warning

Column diff of table #__admintools_scanalerts contains 1061795 bytes of data. This may cause restoration issues.

This is merely a warning, not an error. The backup has completed successfully. However, do try restoring it. If the restoration fails you will need to ask your host to change the max_packet_size setting in MySQL's my.cnf configuration file.

More information: Your MySQL server needs to have a max_packet_size setting larger than the largest database column you are restoring. Otherwise the restoration will fail because the amount of data in the column is bigger than the limit MySQL's configuration imposes. Since the data cannot be broken down to smaller chunks than a single row we can't work around this at backup or restoration time. Since the restoration failure is due to the configured MySQL limits which cannot be worked around without privileged access to the MySQL server configuration we can't work around it in any other way during restoration either. Your host has to change the MySQL configuration. This has caused restoration failures in the past. That's why we warn you about it. It's best to know beforehand than when you are trying to restore your site.

I reset the file permissions and the warning disappeared.
Ran backup and restore - all worked fine
