EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I manage some 5-6 sites all of which have Akeeba Backup installed. Recently when checking them out it appeared that only one (or maybe two) of the sites had been updated to the latest version (5.2.3) - all of the others were on 5.1.0.

Each site is checked every week for updates via the Joomla back end and all are applied as soon as they are notified.

Can you please advise if there is something I have neglected in install (or a setting I have neglected to apply) to get the offending sites to update automatically?

Thanks.

dlb
The old version is stuck in the Joomla! extensions cache. Please clear the cache and search for extensions to see if you can force it to update.

Where do I find the extensions cache? The only cache I can find is under Global Configuration and then when I go to Cache it only shows a cache relating to my templates and Gantry (I use Rocket Theme templates).

On the Extensions:Update page, there are three buttons on the top left. Click the Clear Cache, then the Find Updates button.
