EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Hello!

After installing Akeeba Backup Pro 5.2.3, I receive this error message:

Fatal error: Class 'FOF30\Container\Container' not found in /home/letra891/public_html/donachicabuffet/plugins/quickicon/akeebabackup/akeebabackup.php on line 240

What do I do to fix it?

Thanks in advance

Edson,

This is a partial installation of Akeeba Backup. Part of the FOF support library did not install completely. Please install Akeeba Backup twice, back to back, without doing anything in between. Do not uninstall, that will cause you to lose your settings and possibly your stored backup archives.

If that does not solve the issue, you will need to download the FOF library from our Downloads page, towards the bottom and install it manually. Note that this library is different than the Joomla! Core FOF library. You need them both.

Hello, again!

Thanks for the quick reply.

Right now, I don't have access to the back end of the site due to the fatal error I reported, so I believe that I´ll have to install the FOF library using ftp.

I still have a little doubt: is it just a case of extracting the files and upload them to the site or there are any other steps to take? And to what folder should I upload it? FOF? FOF30? I saw in other public tickets a reference to a F0F (f-zero-f) folder - this one I don´t have in my site.

Let's try disabling Admin Tools with the instructions here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/atwafissues.html. That should let you enter the back end and make things a little easier.

Hi, Dale!

I followed the tutorial - I renamed the main.php file - but I still can't get to the back end due to the error. Is there anything else we can do?

Thanks

Edson

Please rename the plugins/quickicon/akeebabackup folder. That will disable the plugin that is calling the code. I was wrong about disabling Admin Tools, my apologies.

Yes, if we need to manually install the FOF library, we would extract the zip file locally and upload the folders within the fof folder in the zip to the /libraries/fof30 folder on the site.

Hi, Dale

I renamed the folder, installed Akeeba Backup twice and now everything is working just fine.

Thanks a lot for your support.
