Description of my issue:

When I try to update my Akeeba Core to version 5.2.3 I get the attached errors.

Can you please advise how I can resolve this?

This looks like a permissions problem in the tmp folder. What are the permissions on the /tmp folder in the root of your site?

If the permissions look right, please enable the FTP layer in the Joomla! Global Configuration screen.
