Description of my issue: Trying to Transfer Archive to Amazon S3 from the Manage Backups page and a pop-up is served indicating the process is underway, then after a while a 404 error appears in the pop-up window and the file is not transferred.

Hello,

please apply the options suggested here
https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/akeeba-backup-3x/26221-only-jpa-but-not-parts-j01-j02-etc-get-uploaded-to-amazon-s3-2.html

I think these issues are related.

Thanks Davide,
This particular site (we have about 20 using AkeebaBackup / AWS S3 on the same server), www.folch.com, is already configured with SSL and multipart uploads disabled.

Regards,
Dale

I'm sorry, in this case the error is caused by the size of your backup.
You created a 1.2 Gb file and you are trying to transfer it in one shot. Since it's quite large, you get a timeout.
Please create multi part archive, by setting a part size of 50Mb under the Archiver Engine options
