EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Downloaded payed subscription of Akeeba Backup successfully. When I try to open, get nothing but a blank page.

I think this is an incomplete installation. Please install Akeeba Backup twice, back to back, without doing anything in between. This trick usually works around a glitch in the Joomla! installer script where it fails to copy all of the files during an installation or upgrade.

Have tried that three times. Didn't work, even though message says successful...

OK, please download the FOF30 from our Downloads page (near the bottom) and install that. It is a component of Backup but does not always reinstall properly when you're trying to force install it.

If that doesn't work, we're going to have to coax an error message out of the white page. I'll post some instructions for you if we get to that point.

Didn't work... This is making me a bit nervous. Have never had this much trouble installing an extension...

Okay, the problem seemed to be that I was installing 5.2.0. Just installed 5.2.1 and is working fine. So one last question-- the automatic backups will be stored on my server (using default settings)? Thanks for the quick assistance yesterday!

Backups are only stored on your server unless you explicitly set up a Post-processing option in the Configuration page.
