when I install Akeeba Backup installation package v.5.1.4 my voice installing the following error:

Warning

Copy file failed
Package Install: There was an error installing an extension: com_akeeba-core.zip
Error

Error installing package


I had already installed it there. but not backed up properly, so I tried to reinstall.
Not back up all my files.
It may be that the backup file has more than 5 gigabytes?
Possibility to split the archive into multiple smaller files, I found only in pro version.

How did you try to upgrade your Akeeba Backup, through Joomla! Update or by installing the downloaded zip file?

Both CORE and PRO will allow you to split the archive into multiple parts. The setting is in Configuration, Archiver Engine, press the Configure button and set the part size.

I installed a zip file from the extension manager.
I přeinstalovával because they did not offer installed Akeeba Backup configuration split the archive into multiple parts.

It was some damage to installations, and probably now prevents new installation

The Akeeba Backup archive is larger than the default PHP file upload limit. That will stop the installation sometimes. There are instructions for manually installing here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation/installation-updates-upgrades.html#installation-manual.

in the directory components / com_akeeba I raised rights. Some files have low rights to his installation package could overwrite.
