EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Hi,
they are a lot of weeks that i'm not be able to update joomla.
I have the 3.6.0 version and my system says that joomla is up to date; but Joomla is at 3.6.2 version!
On control panel of my joomla administrator site if I click on Maintenace > Joomla up to date I have:

An error has occurred.
1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL=UPDATE `#__update_sites` SET `last_check_timestamp`='0',`location`='https://update.joomla.org/core/sts/list_sts.xml' WHERE

So, I've asked to my server provider that said me that it is an issue from Akeeba Backup.
So, here I am!
Could you help me, please?
Thanks a lot
Best regards

Yes there is a problem with Akeeba Backup, but that isn't it. The problem will give you an "invalid security token" message after the automatic backup and before the upgrade. You can work around it by disabling the System - Backup on Upgrade plugin or by upgrading to Akeeba Backup 5.1.4.

I'm sorry, but I don't have any help for you on the SQL error.

Hi,
ok, I've checked the database "update_sites" and I've found that there is the joomla core missing.
So I've added it coping it from another my site
Now it works fine and the issue is disappeared!
My best regards
