I am doing the 3.6.1 to 3.6.2 update. After the completion of the backup, the update fails with an Invalid Security Token error. This is across numerous sites I have.

Is this related to the backup? Otherwise, can I disable the backup from happening so I can just do the patch update alone?

I just saw the post on disabling the auto-backup, did it, and it worked! No problem anymore...

Hello Douglas,

disabling the system plugin is a quick fix, the proper solution is to update your Akeeba Backup to the latest version (5.1.4).
Please note that the Akeeba Backup version you have installed has several bugs, you should update as soon as possible.
