EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Attempting to use SFTP post-processing fails with a "The session allows sftp connections only [postauth]" error on the remote server if I set "ForceCommand internal-sftp" in the remote server sshd_config (which I want to do for security purposes). However, I can use sftp at the command line successfully from the local server to the remote server.

My question is this: Does Akeebabackup use others command(s) as well as sftp to connect to the remote server?

AkeebaBackup is fantastic, BTW!

Hello Allan,

we are using PHP native functions to connect using SFTP, ie ssh2_connect and stuff like that.
Looking around the web, it seems that there is an issue with SSH PHP module and chrooted instance of SFTP.
I'm sorry but the only option seems to use another post-processing engine or remove the chroot.
