Hello,

as I can see the Akeeba eXtract 3.3 is pretty stable cause I can't see any bug reports and newer versions :D but here I am with a bug! At least, it occurs in case of my backups...
I am doing a backup of pretty large site - whole backup size is: 7,41GB. Backup is in jpa format in parts with maximum size of 2GB. The problem is that Akeeba eXtract doesn't extract all of the data and it gives me the Success message like the extraction was completed :o For example, my today backup of 7,41 after extraction had only 4GB :D
Any ideas what's wrong?

Sincerely,
Thomas

The eXtract program is depreciated and will no longer be updated. We know that it will not extract the new jps encrypted format. It was too difficult to maintain a program that needed to work on all platforms, Windows, Linux and Mac. I can not think of any reason why the last version of eXtract would not extract your archive.

We recommend that you install a WAMP, LAMP MAMP, etc. stack on your local computer and use Kickstart to extract archives locally.

I already do this the way You recommend. :) I just preferred to use the Akeeba eXtractor earlier.

Thanks for answering,
Thomas
