EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Dear support,
my back with Akeeba 5.1.2 Pro fails all the time.
Please make it work again.
Attached you are finden the zipped log-file and a screenshot of the error.

P.S. The backup worked for a month without any problems. Since Friday there always occurs the same error.

There is no clear reason in the log file why the backup stops. First, please go to Configuration, Archiver Engine, Configure, and set the Part size for split archives to 49.99. Then retry your backup. Please let me know if it completes.

I searched the whole Akeeba Pro configuration but unfortunately I did not find it.

From the Akeeba Backup Control Panel (main page), go to Configuration. In the Advanced Configuration section, find the Archiver Engine line. Press the Configure button on the right side of that line. The Part size for split archives setting is the bottom field in that section.

We are not quite done yet. What was happening is that your host limits the maximum size of a file you can create on your site. When the backup archive grew larger than that file size, the backup failed. The 50 Mb setting was just a guess and it worked. But you can experiment with it to see where it actually fails. The goal is to use the largest part size that your host allows, that creates the smallest number of parts to your backup.

I experimented with different sizes. The biggest working part-size seems to be 59.99 MB. I think I will call it a day and keep these settings.
