I need to be able to upload backups to SkyDrive for Business, where we have 1TB of space instead of my personal account which only has 15GB. I have seen Ticket 24703, but believe your response to be incorrect.

Please see the following link for the apparently separate OneDrive for Business Authentication & Sign In process. Would really like to have this issue resolved!

Additional Info:

If you go to login.microsoft.com and enter an email associated with both a personal and business account, it will display the prompt shown in the first image. The gollowing options and actions are available:

- -f you choose the work option, it stays at login.microsoftonline.com (and brands if if your organization uses Azure AD)
- If you choose the personal option, it pushes you over to live.com personal login.

However, the same functionality does NOT occur in reverse. If you go to (or authenticate against, it would appear) login.live.com, the following will occur:

- Using the desired email with the password for the PERSONAL account will result in SUCCESSFUL login
- Using the desired email with the password for the WORK account will result in FAILED login, with no options presented

I hope this is helpful!

You are partially correct. I was wrong before. The situation is actually far worse than I thought.

OneDrive Business has a different authentication AND API endpoint which varies per business client. Moreover, we'd have to register and maintain forever a custom application in Azure ActiveDirectory for every OneDrive Business user. This costs dozens of times more than your subscription. It makes no sense for us to lose a few thousand dollars per subscriber and it makes no sense for you to pay us a few thousand dollars per year – especially when S3 and similar storage options cost far less.

In any case we do NOT claim to support OneDrive Business. It's a completely different product to plain old OneDrive. And considering how complicated it is to integrate to it we are not willing to support it, ever.
