EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

The backup on update plugin triggers a backup before a Joomla! upgrade. If you want a backup before an extension upgrade, it needs to be triggered manually.

OK;
Is there any way (or maybe to suggest if cant be done) to add some kind of popup notification, when admin login to administration, to offer/notify admin to make backup before make any changes in administration?
Thank you

Even if such a thing could be done, you are still trusting the admin to actually do the backup before they make any changes. And seeing the message every time they log in will make it "invisible".

A better solution may be to set up a CRON job to trigger a backup overnight and at lunch time. Then during your working day you are only at risk for a maximum of about four hours. You can set it up more frequently if needed. You do need to be careful that you do not have two backups running at the same time. This has the advantage of keeping the human out of it and letting the computer do it.

OK thank you
I see there is
"Akeeba Backup Notification Module"
in Joomla administration
but when open it have
"Module XML data not available"
Is there any document about that module, what is for ands how to configure it?
Thank you

That is an obsolete module that is scheduled to be removed in the next release.

I'm not sure if this will work, but it is worth a try. Go to the Akeeba Backup Control Panel and right click on the One Click Backup button at the top. Then Copy link address.

I know how to make it work! Go to Options in the upper right corner of the Akeeba Control Panel screen. Enable the front end backup and enter a password. Save and exit the Options screen.

Now go to Scheduling Information. The URL for the front end backup will trigger a backup and will not change with log in. This address is normally used to trigger CRON backups from third party CRON services such as WebCron. The only problem I can see is that you may not be able to see the backup progress with this method. You will have to test it to see what it looks like.
