EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
This is the development site http://staging2.joanarmatrading.com/ and I used to be able to do the backups but not keep getting error and don't know what to do to fix it.

You are getting a "Can't write to archive" error. Your host appears to have a maximum file size that can be created. You need to reduce your part size in Configuration, Archiver Engine, under the Configure settings. The next smaller size should be fine.
