I made a backup of my WordPress blog with Akeeba Backup Prof installed in Joomla.
I made up only of the WP DB and its folders.

With the Kickstart I have done the restore, but the last screen did not ask me the user name and password, only data relating to a configuration of Joomla.
Obviously then Wordpress is not started.

Where did I go wrong?

It should be fairly obvious that using Akeeba Backup for Joomla! to backup and restore a site made with WordPress will not work very well. Joomla! and WordPress are completely different. As a result they need a different restoration script to be included in the backup archive at backup time.

If you want to be able to back up and restore your WordPress site you need to use Akeeba Backup for WordPress. There is a free Core version which you can try. If you decide you need the Professional one you can buy a BACKUPWP subscription. Since you're already a JOOMLADELUXE subscriber our system will give you an automatic 40% discount off its price.

OK, thanks.
However I do not understand why Akeeba Backup allows me to backup other folders and other DB if it always tries to do the restore as if it were Joomla.
It would be enough that there is a simple option to avoid additional configuration and let the files as they are saved, or am I wrong?

Well, you can simply run the restoration up to the point where it asks you to reconfigure the (non-existent) Joomla! site. Then simply close the ANGIE tab and click on Clean Up in Kickstart's tab. That's it.
