I don't understand where is the installation folder for Kickstart.

In WAMPP I have:
/htdocs/sitefolder

If I copy here the kickstart files and the JPA file after the restore process (and cleaning) I still find all this files.

If I create a folder
/htdocs/sitefolder/kickstart
the I find the Joomla in this folder and all the KS files, too.

Thanks in advance.

The permissions on some servers will not allow Kickstart to delete the files. You can manually delete them after the installation is complete. There are several .ini files, two .js files and one kickstart.php file. Under normal circumstances none of these files would exist in the root of your site.

I'm restore the website into XAMPP (in Win10).
I see only the ini files.
So, I will delete them by hand.
Thanks
