Hello Ricardo,

First, please make sure that you are using Akeeba Backup Professional, not Core. Go to Components, Akeeba Backup and look at the right hand side of the page. You will see the Status Summary section at the top:

If it reads Akeeba Backup Core you have the wrong version of the software and you need to upgrade it to Akeeba Backup Professional like you see in our video tutorial.

Now that we are sure that you have Akeeba Backup Professional, select the backup profile you want to use from the drop-down at the top of the page.

Now go into the Configuration page (NOT the Profiles page – that's only for setting up profiles, not configuring them). Under Post-processing Engine select "Upload to Remote FTP" (if you're using FTP or FTPS) or "Upload to Remote SFTP" (if you're using SFTP) and configure it per our documentation. Now all backups taken with this profile –manual or scheduled– will upload files to the remote FTP server you configured.

Finally, go into the Scheduling Information page to find out how to set up the scheduling for the currently active backup profile.

Due to a bug, Joomla! sometimes forget to copy files when you are installing or updating a component. Based on the screenshots you sent me this is what happened. There is a simple solution:

Please download Akeeba Backup Professional from our site and install it twice on your site, without uninstalling the component before or between.

Kindly note that this is already explained in our documentation.
