Hi Nicolas,

we are extensively using Akeeba Backup for hourly dumping parts of the databases etc. in a way that the amount of backups becomes very large for one installation. I am using one of my own component sto surveille the success state of the backups sending me a daily mail in case of having one or more failed backups. Failed backups cannot be filtered or sorted in the "Manage Backup" view. So I's like to suggest adding a filter or sort for the status of the backups. As far as I know, this can be done with minimal effort, right? :)

Thanks and best regards,
Stefan

Hello Stefan,

the Status field is computed on the fly: Obsolete and Remote rows are all stored as Completed, we actually check if the backup is there or it's on a remote server.
This means that we can not add any filter, because it would require to load all the records and then calculate on them.

Hello Davide,
perhaps you could set a filter on (I'd call it so) a "virtual" computed column "hasfailed"?

Stefan

No, I'm sorry but that's not possible.

Just another idea: Perhaps you could provide a view on its own for the failed backups? Or some button to delete the entries for failed backups in the database?

No, this is the same issue. We can not filter by failed backups.
