EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
When I try and click on restore against a backup file it tells me :The backup archive could not be located
I know the files are there are Amazon S3

Ever since I updated to Joomal 3.4.8 from 3.4.5 the links to articles from menus are broken ! I have to restore from a previous backup. I know I can do this using kickstart, but thought I would try using the restore option.

Can you think of why it cannot find the remote files ?

Hello Alexander,

the backups must be locally available in order to restore them from inside Akeeba Backup.
This means that you have to "bring them back" using the Fetch back to server button inside the Manage backups page; you can see that button by clicking on the Manage remotely stored files button).
Then you'll be able to restore them.
